This speaker caught my attention when he was talking about my country at a particular conference i attended recently. He was sharing the reasons why he has decided to make Singapore his new home after he first landed in Singapore in early 2000.
Singapore is at the cross road of almost everything. So much so that Singaporeans are actually uncertain whether Singapore is a developed or developing country. He get different answers from people within Singapore. People here are actually confused about what they are. But if you go to other countries and ask the same question, the answers are pretty much in alignment. This state of flux actually makes Singapore so interesting to be in. There are so many cultures interacting here. Ideas are allowed to flourish.
Recently, we see news of lower costs of operating in Singapore.
